At Work
Kathy Prieto, an attorney in the Firm’s Buckhead office, works with agents, buyers and sellers to draft contracts related residential real estate transactions handling all related issues including title clearance, title insurance matters and RESPA compliance. She also represents lenders in all aspects of construction, residential and commercial loans. In addition to this type of work she also has experience with REO closings and workout agreements between lenders and borrowers.
Earlier in her career Kathy was a partner with Morris, Manning & Martin LLP, where she managed several residential real estate offices throughout Georgia and North Carolina.
In the Profession
Kathy is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the Real Property law section. She has also served as a mentor for new attorneys through the State Bar.
In the Community
Kathy gives back to her community serving as a volunteer for a number of charitable organizations including Habitat for Humanity, Sheltering Arms Early Education & Family Center and Special Olympics. She is also actively involved with Our Lady of the Assumption School and Church.
