At Work

Seth Weissman represents developers, builders, lenders, corporate and institutional property owners and real estate brokers with respect to their real estate and legal needs.  He also heads the firm’s real estate development and workout team andadvises developers, lenders and new investor groups on their rights and responsibilities relative to troubled and/or foreclosed condominium, mixed-use, master planned and condominium communities.

 

In addition to a law degree, Seth has a master's degree in city and regional planning and is an Adjunct Professor of City Planning in the College of Architecture at the Georgia Institute of Technology.

 

Seth uses his unique background to assist clients with their zoning and land use needs.  He is also actively involved in setting up complex real estate developments, including vertical and horizontal mixed-use developments, residential condominiums, office and retail condominiums, master planned, age-restricted and sustainable communities.

 

Having practiced law for over 30 years, Seth is particularly adept at developing and implementing strategies to solve the most difficult legal problems of his clients. 

 

In the Profession

A respected author and speaker, Seth is co-author of The Red Book on Real Estate Contracts in Georgia, a best-selling reference book used by REALTORS® and Secrets of Winning the Real Estate Negotiation Game®. He is a former Chair of the Real Property Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia, a member of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers and proudly serves as general counsel to the Georgia Association of REALTORS®.  A member of the Urban Land Institute, Seth serves on the Governance Board of the ULI Atlanta District Council.
