Atlanta - Weissman, Nowack, Curry & Wilco announces that John G. Nelson and R. Kyle Williams have been voted 2005 'Georgia Rising Stars,' as reported in Atlanta Magazine and Georgia Super Lawyers.

John G. Nelson is a general litigation attorney who represents clients in a variety of disputes related to real estate, professional liability, construction projects, and contracts. He also handles insurance defense litigation. He earned his law degree from Emory University (J.D., 1994) and received his undergraduate degree from the University of West Florida (B.A., 1991).

R. Kyle Williams practices general civil litigation, with an emphasis on matters affecting real estate builders, developers, contractors and agents. He also represents real estate professionals in defense of malpractice claims and lawsuits. He earned his law degree from the University of Tennessee College of  Law (J.D., 2001) and received his undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee at Martin (B.S., 1998). Kyle serves on the Dean's Circle Alumni Advisory Board for the University of Tennessee College of  Law. He participates in The Saturday Lawyers Program of the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation and is the firm coordinator for the Atlanta Council of Younger Lawyers.

The 'Rising Stars' are voted on by the most recent group of 'Georgia Super Lawyers," announced in March, 2005. The select group votes on lawyers they have personally observed in action that are 40 years of age or under or who have practiced law 10 years or less.
