George Nowack Elected to CCAL Board of Governors

Atlanta - George E. Nowack, Jr. has been elected to The College of Community Association Lawyers Board of Governors. Nowack, a founding partner of Weissman, Nowack, Curry & Wilco, P.C. and former president of the Community Associations Institute (CAI), will serve a three year term beginning in March. The College of Community Association Lawyers was established by the Community Associations Institute's Board of  Trustees in 1993.

The College was created to acknowledge CAI member attorneys who have distinguished themselves through contributions to the practice of community association law and who have committed to high standards of professional and ethical conduct in the practice of community association law. Nowack was a charter member of The College's 1993 class. He is one of two members from Georgia.

Nowack has held numerous leadership positions in CAI including his tenure as president in 1994-95 and as executive director in 1989. A frequent conference speaker, he has also authored numerous articles on community association law.

Weissman, Nowack, Curry & Wilco is nationally recognized for its extensive real estate, community association and litigation practices. Founded in 1991, the firm has 65 lawyers practicing throughout the southeast and in the firm's 13 offices located throughout the metropolitan area.
