Weissman, Nowack, Curry & Wilco Attorneys Named 2006 “Georgia Rising Stars”
-Atlanta - Weissman, Nowack, Curry & Wilco, PC, one of Atlanta’s 25 largest law firms, announces that Jane Kotake, Darryl Moss, John Nelson, Ashoo Sharma and Kyle Williams have been named 2006 “Georgia Rising Stars” in Atlanta Magazine and Georgia Super Lawyers.
The “Rising Stars” are voted on by the most recent group of “Georgia Super Lawyers,” announced in March. This select group votes on lawyers they have personally observed in action that are 40 years of age or under or who have practiced law 10 years or less.

Jane Kotake is a partner in the firm’s commercial real estate practice. Her clients include many of the region’s leading builders and developers. She earned a law degree from Syracuse University (J.D., 1995) and received her undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University (B.S., 1992).
Darryl Moss is an associate in the commercial real estate practice, representing builders and developers in the creation of mixed-use and other complex planned real estate developments throughout the country. He also advises clients on other real estate matters, including RESPA and brokerage matters. Darryl earned his law degree from Emory University (J.D. 2000) with honors and his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin (B.S., 1996), also with honors.
John Nelson is a general litigation attorney who represents clients in a variety of disputes related to real estate, professional liability, construction projects and contracts. He also handles personal injury litigation, for both plaintiffs and defendants. He earned his law degree from Emory University (J.D., 1994) and his undergraduate degree from the University of West Florida (B.A., 1991).
Ashoo Sharma, a general litigation attorney, represents clients in matters arising from real estate brokerage and real estate contracts. Ashoo’s practice also focuses on insurance defense, commercial litigation and employment law matters. Ashoo earned her law degree from the University of Georgia (J.D. 2001) and an undergraduate degree from Georgia State University (B.A., 1997). An active member of the Georgia legal and business community, Ashoo has served as the executive vice president of Georgia Indo-American Chamber of Commerce, as vice president and board member of the IndusBar of Georgia and currently serves as a Barrister in the Bleckley Inn of Court.
Kyle Williams practices general civil litigation with an emphasis on matters affecting real estate builders, developers, contractors and agents. He also represents real estate professionals in defense of malpractice claims and lawsuits as well as handling personal injury and premises liability lawsuits. He earned his law degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law (J.D., 2001) and received his undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee at Martin (B.S., 1998).
