Weissman, Nowack, Curry & Wilco, P.C., (“WNCW”), one of the nation’s premier real estate law firms, is pleased to announce that Jon Young, former Associate General Counsel for John Wieland Homes and Neighborhoods, has joined the firm as Counsel. Mr. Young will manage the firm’s default services department.
He will be responsible for the WNCW team that works with creditors and lenders offering comprehensive representation through all stages of mortgage foreclosure, from notice of foreclosure through sale, eviction and representation of lenders’ interests in bankruptcy.

Prior to joining WNCW, Mr. Young served as Associate General Counsel for John Wieland Homes and Neighborhoods for 14 years. During his tenure there, he represented the company in general corporate and real estate matters and handled contract and financial work, including issues involved in overseeing foreclosures, bankruptcies, evictions and sales of reacquired property. Throughout his career, he has also advised and represented homebuilders, developers, lenders and loan servicers on a variety of matters.

Mr. Young received his law degree from the University of Georgia (JD, 1986) and his undergraduate degree from Davidson College (BA, 1981).
