Buyer Reminders

• Advise your Closing Attorney of any special needs, circumstances or questions you have regarding the closing

• Provide Closing Attorney with proof of homeowner’s insurance policy having adequate coverage effective on or before closing date

• Work closely with your Lender to prepare the loan for closing

• Consider with your Realtor® or Closing Attorney the option of purchasing owner’s title insurance

• If you cannot attend closing, obtain a Power of Attorney form from the Closing Attorney, execute it properly and assure that the original is returned for closing

• Bring these things with you to closing:

    A valid, non-expired photo ID such as a driver's license, passport or state-issued ID

    Any documents required by your lender or requested by WNCW

    Your checkbook in case you need to pay a bit more than the amount you sent via wire transfer for closing
