Community Association Litigation

Community associations exist to provide a framework for the operation and governance of the condominium complex or residential subdivision. As in any well managed business, there are complex legal issues that intersect with numerous relationships.

Despite the best intentions of association leadership, disagreements arise, especially in the interpretation and enforcement of governing documents. Our litigation team represents community associations and property managers in disputes such as directors’ and officers’ liability claims, breach of contract cases, covenant and rule enforcement actions and negligence. The claims involve actions in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies.
